The Opportunity
We are seeking a hands-on, inspiring Head of Property to lead our property management division. You’ll oversee an extensive portfolio of over 1,100 properties across the greater Parramatta area, manage a high-performing team, and handle a smaller boutique portfolio yourself to stay close to the market and our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Property Managers, Leasing Consultants, and Business Development Managers, ensuring a collaborative, supportive culture.
- Oversee and ensure high standards of property management across a portfolio of 1,100+ properties, implementing process efficiencies and best practices.
- Personally manage a selective portfolio of 50–80 premium properties to maintain strong client relationships and a hands-on understanding of day-to-day operations.
- Support business growth by working closely with the Business Development team—contributing ideas for attracting new landlords and retaining existing clients.
- Drive operational excellence by setting and monitoring KPIs for the team.
- Oversee all regulatory, compliance, and legislative requirements—ensuring the highest levels of professionalism and accuracy.
- Foster excellent relationships with landlords and tenants, acting as a key point of contact and local expert for complex issues and escalations.
- Collaborate across teams to support marketing initiatives, innovation, and a consistently friendly and professional service delivery.
Your Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in senior property management, with proven leadership managing both staff and a large multi-site portfolio.
- NSW Real Estate Licence or Certificate of Registration required.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing, customer-oriented teams.
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Residential Tenancies Act.
- Exceptional communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to a people-first service philosophy and understanding of the local Parramatta market.
